Recently, Brooke Ison and Kaitlynn Kirk attended the Chapter Officer Leadership Training Conference in Columbus at Vets Memorial. In the morning, at the COLT conference the students, including the State FFA Officers learned many leadership skills and games that they could bring back to their home chapter. Motivational speaker, Rhett Laubach, gave the officers great ideas to improve the chapter and to make the Johnstown FFA chapter more successful with hopes to increase membership numbers. After the conference students were able to go on a tour at the State House and meet with legislatures to discuss the issues at concern. Johnstown FFA Advisor is Debra Burden. |
